Hi all,
I’m rebuilding all my 951 carbs… with OSD back to OEM kits. Testing for carb leaks… system leaks…
I have a 1999 GTXL I’m currently doing.
I’ve noticed this one doesn’t have the flow restrictor orifice in it like my 98 GTXL has…. between the accessory pump and the PTO carb.
Pic attached..
I don’t see the orifice in either the 98 or 99 GTXL carb diagrams of the service manuals.
Does the 99 GTXL carb have the flow restrictor like the 98?
Where can we get replacement restrictor orifices?
I’ve read that if these are missing it will cause a lean condition at the higher rpm’s due to low fuel system pressures…
BTW: I’ve followed Mikidymac’s carb rebuild thread exactly…
TIA
Edwin
