Hello,

We need help with our two Sea-Doos we have replaced the battery the solenoid the starter the wiring harness the post the start stop button. Yet every time we push the start stop the gauges don’t come up and we don’t hear a beep beep so wondering what else do we need to do oh and we did troubleshoot the brain box. Any advice would be grateful thank you so much9F16BF69-FE5A-46C1-ADE6-9B28DD92F83B.jpeg

Do you hear the fuel pump kick on for 2 seconds? Does the ski turn over?

I have had a few skis that don't power up the gauges when pushing the start/stop button "without the key in place." I'm not sure why this is but I just don't worry about it. As long as the ski starts I don't much care about it. Are you sure your beeper is working? If the plug going into the mag at the front of the ski isn't making contct the ski won't do anything. Check your fuses.

Are both skis doing the same thing? Neither is recognizing the key or attempting to turn over??

If you replaced the starters make sure you have a good ground. I always remove the paint to make sure there is good contact.

I'm not sure if the RFI has the additional ground wire at the rear of the ski that needs to be connected to the battery. That wire I am referring to comes out the top of of the rear electrical box. It is black with ring terminal that connects to the battery in addition to the large ground wire. This is the case on carbureted versions.

The ski isn’t recognized the key, went to have it reprogrammed, he wasn’t able to program the key because the computer wasn’t finding the ski.

When the ski does not recognize the key you get a long beep from the beeper. You may have a computer issue but verify before spending any money.

Update…we switched the ECUs and now it beeps and the console comes on BUT now it won’t crank. It acts like it want to turn over but won’t finish cranking.

sounds dumb,,,do a compression test,,,maybe a bad cylinder..,,,if you jump the selenoid,,,does turn over properly.

So we are thinking it is the cylinder and we are just not willing to spend that kind of money to fix it we are going to try to sell the pair and hope someone is able to fix it. Thank you everyone for all your help. Have a blessed day!
