Looking at buying a 1999 GTX LTD. Spent 14 hours yesterday familiarizing myself , reading 48 pages of archives...lol
The machine seems to be in fairly good shape and runs good other than losing 400 rpm after 20 min of WOT play. Replace plugs and then goes again.
Will be looking at compression, grey fuel lines and goo, plug wire 1/4" clip, plugs and gap, water reg ., RAVES, etc. in the next day or two and get it out on water.
The machine was honed and ringed about 5 years and only 30 hours ago.
Question:
What are the implications of The Jet Pump oil never being changed in this machine?
Wants $3,000 and will pay for carb rebuild and RAVE work if needed.
