Just bought it.....

-battery completely charged
-i get 2 beeps when lanyard is attached
-hit the start/stop key and the motor slightly moves (maybe a quarter turn, maybe) and then nothing with the motor
-after that i usually hear one long beep
--when i pull the spark plugs the motor turns; if i put the sparks plugs back in the motor will not turn
-i also checked to see if the (new) spark plugs were making a spark by connecting them to the spark plug wires (while out of the head) and i was not getting any spark while the motor was turning
-the fuses on the MPEM are good


-i think that the MPEM is bad but i am hoping that maybe i can find something else on here that i could check.......please help

Be sure the battery wires(+-) are clean and making a good connection. If your getting 2 beeps than the mpem should be ok. It very well is a bad battery connection. Be sure the lanyard is clean and dry too and making a good connection all the time.
