I have been stripping down the ski to repair scratches/chips and repaint everything while we rebuild the engine. After removing the hood, I was planning on taking the speedo out and maybe painting the cowl it sits in.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how the heck to get it out of there.
It looks as if it is mounted in a rubber sleeve, flanged on both sides...it sure doesn't move, thats for sure.
Any Ideas? or should I just mask it off when I paint it.
