1998 XP trim

(Newbie question!)

I have a 98 Seadoo XP 951. For some reason the trip keeps blowing fuses. I replace the 7.5 amp fuse, and the trim will work fine. But that does not last long, it will blow the fuse again! Any suggestions? Does this sound like a short in the electical system?

Pop the cover of your VTS box in the back and see if there is water or condensation in there. If its wet, it could blow the fuse. Also, if it is wet, make sure the rubber boot from the VTS shaft is good, no holes or tears. Cover should go on real good and tight with the rubber gasket.:cheers:
