flaminr6,

I went through the mpem problem recently and ended up purchasing a new one for $1700. Come to find out my small black ground wire going into the mpem from the negative on battery was not pushed into the plug all of the way. If you are having issues with only one motor getting power to the starter this may help. Take some needle-nose pliers and push the black wire back into the plug as far as possible. This worked for me after spending $1700 for nothing. I do have an mpem but not a key. My 98 speedster has the 787's.

they are hard to find used. You can only get a used one with the key programmed to it other than that you will need the dealer or aftermarket programer.

My MPEM is the 204470155 it is for the 1998 Speedster with twin 787 motors. If it works for you I will take $700.
