1998 speedster jet pump

Hey guys I'm going to replace one wear ring on my boat. I started taking it apart and a lot of water came out of the cone when I took if off. So now I am going to rebuild the pump anyway on the pump I can't find where the 2 on rings go there is a boot that is made of rubber that does not come with the rebuild kit. Any ideas.

Check out the exploded views of the parts diagram. If you don't already have that, put the wrenches down.

I got it figured out I do have the exploded view and the 2 o rings that came with it are not showen it turns out there not used on the boat but they are used in a normal seadoo jetpump kinda weird.

My boat has 1 o ring on the cone itself.

Ya but the 2 smaller ones that come with the rebuild kit are not used

My xpl and xp use them but not the speedster.

They seal the adapter for the bailer tubes

Ahhh I see ya there is no Bailer tubes in the boat because it has a bilge pump.

You are correct. So it's easier to make one standard kit, not 2
