1998 Seat Covers Question

I need some schooling on seat covers.
I see you can find replacement covers for all the early years. But, it looks like in 1998 the seats in the back of Speedsters were reduced from 3 to 2 seats. I have never seen one in person but from photos it looks like these back(and front) seats are molded plastic/vinyl over foam padding. Is this correct? If it is, I would imagine these can not just be re-upholsterer easily. Are there aftermarkets to repair these seats? Or do I have it all wrong?

Thanks

not quite sure what you are describing.

I've had one challenger and one speedster, (both had triple seats so maybe that's why i'm confused) and they were stitched vinyl over molded foam. I'm having difficulty trying to find a 2 seat rear photo... can you post one that you found ?

FWIW, i've done seat re-upholstery twice on SD boats, and both times I used seadooupholstery.com for the product and was thrilled with the results.

is this the seat setup your talking about ?

So I watched your video after posting the photo. Which look the same as what I'm talking about. So those are re-upholstered seats? Those are the ones I thought were molded. Did you do the re-upholster yourself or does seadooupholstery.com offer installation service if I ship them seats?

Thanks

Seadooupholstery.com has slip over seat covers and I think you staple them to the foam. I'm pretty sure. Shoot Keith an email.
