Hi guys, Im new to this forum but I have found the information invaluable so far.
I have just been to inspect a 1998 Seadoo Speedster with 2 110hp engines.Compression test resulted in 140psi in engine1 and the other was 149psi. I believe this is not bad?

My question is; As there is a difference in the psi ratings does this make a difference to performance?

We took it out to water but only in a no wake zone so I couldnt open the throttle to the last or near to it. As the psi's are reading over 140 would I be 'safe' enough? At leat the compression is good eh???

Appreciate any advice as I haven't a clue about boats and Im about to shell out $4k.

By the way, it started fine in the water and it was smooth up to quarter throttle. As we were in the no wake we couldnlt open up. Where we were was a restricted fishing area so we hadnt permission to be there.

I noticed a small leak coming inot the engine area just under where a shaft comes in from the water pump, is this bad?
