We were riding the jetski and it started not turning right. It turns left just fine. I am guessing the steering cable. Could it be anything else?

Also, it starts sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. We have to wiggle wires and tap on the box for it to start even before it has been in the water. We can get it started, ride it, bring it in and shut it off to change riders and it won't start back. If we wait a while it sometimes starts. It runs good once it starts. Any ideas?

It was given to us and we don't know much about it.

Tap on what box?...open it up and see if it has a loose connection... As for the steering... Is there something blocking the cable from turning that direction? Look at it close. probably the steering cable. how does it turn out of the water (or if its in the water when not moving)?

sounds like you might have a bad connection. check for corrosion at the connectors. also on my ski my info center would intermittantly work. I ended up going through all the connectors and pushing the wires towards the connector on both sides of the connector. I would do that if you dont find any corrosion anywhere. hope this helps.
