1998 Seadoo GTI....717 Motor Mount...Poor Engineering.

Are the motor mounts junk on these boats?...I started mine up for the season and the motor almost danced out of the boat...All 4 mounts are toast. Seems as if it's poor engineering. Is that an aftermarket solution?...I have a couple of ideas but no way to follow through with engineering the design. Thanks.....

Age does not help anything. New mounts will be good for many years, or, there is an aftermarket company that makes a stronger mount. I forget what they are made out of, maybe a synthetic rubber or something like that.

RHAAS is the aftermarket company that makes the best. I just use OEM as they have lasted 20 years at this point.
