hey all new to this forum and new to the water, but i have a question.

just purchased this ski but when you put the key on the post it does nothing at all the only thing that happens is the oil light comes on then turns off? i have been reading and its supposed to beep or somthing like that but does not. the battery has a good charge on because when i cross the solenoid in the back box it turns over normal. i believe all the fuses are good unless there are some iam missing? sorry for such a long post but i would love to get this figured out so i can go play!!!! :( any help would be greatly apreciated.

Did you open the main electrical box and inspect each fuse? Remove them to be sure. Also check the rear box. In either case, be on the lookout for water or corrosion on the terminals of the solenoid or other components.

checked all fuses and even cleaned corosion off of the solenoid. but still have not found the fuse in the back box were the solenoid and coil are at... does this ski have a fuse back there? again completely new to the water. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Item 30 in this link ->http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/seadooforums/Seadoo_oem/Seadoo_PWC.asp?Type=13&A=57&B=10
It won't look like a typical automotive fuse at first with the rubber boot over it. But once that little boot is off, you will find a normal automotive fuse in there.

no beeps at all. your beeper is probably dead. you might wanna take it to the dealer and get key and mpem reprogrammed to each other. first though check the wiring to the beeper. beeper itself is up in the handlebar pad.
