need help! sea doo is running very fast, but when idling through no wake zones it takes on water in engine compartment. I have checked the plugs and after it shuts off i have gone through normal process of purging engine and it restarts fine and will run over 6000 rpm, problem is, I don't know why it is taking on water. help if u can

is anyone out there that can lead me in the right direction?

start it on the trailer on the hose and let idle. check for water leaking out of pip or maybe regulator, hoses, etc.. if nothing then fill bilge with water and look outside for leak. Do you have bilge pump? Make sure line has loop higher then outlet if so. Do those have scupper valves? if so inpect that.

Take the seats off and try to see where the water is coming from while running.

hey thanks for help i will hook up the hose and see if i can find leakage. I tried to do it with ski in water still on trailer and did not see anything visible however i am learning what hoses go to what and where, so hopefully with a hose will give me better access to motor and to be able to see if it is leaking out the bottom. thanks again
