Hi was wondering if anyone could help i have changed my starter relay and battery and im trying to start the ski the starter turns slightly but then stops and ive pulled the plugs but just the same i have also turned the drive shaft by hand so nothing siezed when i try and start it the starter motor is really hot was wondering if anyone had experienced the same problem and if so what was the problem it sounds like the starter motor but dont want to start stripping it down incase it might be something else and if it is the motor does the engine need to be pulled to get the starter out would be very thankful of any advice thanks.
EDIT: Took to dealer at Ferry Marine turns it that its the original starter and its burn't out. Cost £200 + £10 delivery for starter, £175 for Engine removal and may be the bendix away as well, at another £130. Repairs in process, so hope to have ski back and working for next weekend as this weekend was a washout anyway!
