ok here goes i put my sea doo in the water ran good for 30minutes bogged down so i brought it home cleaned fuel tank and filter and carb fuel filter it was clodd up changed spark plugs toke back to lake and run fine for 45 minutes and starded again im stumped any ideas please help

what color is the fuel lines. and when you say, cleaned out filter, was it the inline filter, or filter inside of carb/s.

i changed both fuel filters also i have the gray hose now do i just change the gray line to the carb that is the fuel supply

The fuel lines deteriorate from the inside out and will keep clogging up the carbs. If they have nay gas on them they will keep deteriorating. Replace the stainless clamps too if needed.

GTS surging aslo

Can't he just replace every line on the back side of the bowl fuel filter and let that filter catch anything before it. I went to change all of my lines and opted to change the ones that were between the bowl filter and the carbs as I had clearance issues with lines and clamps and couldn't get the fuel selector off. Ran fine for about an hour and now it is surging again. I am going to take the carb off again and check the filter to see what is in there if anything.

crack the carb open, and you'd be surprised on "how little" the inline filter catches debris.;)

Gotcha

Alright, I am curious. I got fuel line to do the entire ski, but the OD was a little larger than the gray lines and there are issues with the space to put on clamps. Can I install an inline filter of my own to catch this crap also?

the "stock" inline filter, believe or not, is THEE best out there, but sh** does get by it. More filters you put, run chance of fuel delivery.

As for fuel line, make sure you got the 1/4in I.D. fuel line from any auto store, at most a buk a ft., plus you'll need 20-30 s.s. clamps...

Thanks

Thanks, I am going to clean out the carb tomorrow and see what I get. I did buy the 1/4" ID line but the OD was larger than the original for some reason. May have to try a different place for fuel line, it was all they had. Definitely going to come up with a permanent fix, removing and cleaning the carb every hour or so is definitely not the way to go!

figure of speech

overtime, the internal carb filter will collect junk, but not a monthly thing. Yeah, the O.D. of fuel line is greater than the factory crap, but, once changed, wont need to worry about that line break'n down, gumming up filters/what not...
