how do i test the speed sensor?

i found out how to test the speed sensor and according to the manual its good...is there a way to test the speedometer? hopefull its not the mpem any suggestions?

Ok you figured out how to check for resistance at the sensor at the spedo wheel with the 2 wires. Check for continuity to the spedo at the guage. The spedo isn't as easy... process of elimination. If all else works replace the spedo guage. The is no test to check it ...make sure it is getting power+/ purple wire and ground-/ black wire. it must get loop circuit with lanyard on dess to check it.
