Hello All!

I am brand new to this forum so I do apologize in case there are any threads on here related to this topic.

I've just obtained a pretty dismantled 1998 951 XPL. For this reason some things I am figuring out along the way.
In general everything is going back together quite smoothly!

Although, for some reason I am now stumped.
Can anyone tell me where the connection of the Oil Level Sending Unit sensor on oil tank is supposed to connect to ???

Any photos you can provide are greatly appreciated!

Gotta hunt that stuff down. :) Extend the plug fully and the connector has got to be less than that distance away. :) I just look for the same color wires and the proper connector end. Sometimes they hide and are pretty good at it. That wire is gonna go to the gauges. Download the wiring diagram. Good Luck !!!

Looks like the Oil Sensor connects directly to your MPEM on pins 3-20 & 3-19. You should have a wire connector (3-20 is BLUE/black wire & 3-19 is Black (ground)) floating around somewhere in the hull body and as Gene says...they are very good at hiding....so poke around in there....UNLESS someone cut it out for whatever reason.
