Quick intro. I have a 98 seadoo 787 engine in my 10’ jetstream jet boat kit. Im having some RPM and performance issues with it. Having a hard time getting up and over 5000-5500 rpm. Some days it hits 5500 others it can only hit 5k and it just feels sluggish and unresponsive.
Cleaned the rave valves to make sure they were working good
Pulled and cleaned the carbs and synced them. I noticed the pressure relief valve for the fuel tank is not functioning correctly so I have ordered a replacement. Could this cause a low rpm issue?
The boat starts and idles good but is sluggish and hesitant and just lacks the top end rpm.
Just looking for some insite on things to check and look over that I may have over looked. Thanks everyone
