Just bought my 1998 challenger and need help w/gauges. The speedometer doesn't work and the port tach is not working as well. Need some advice on what may be common causes/remedies and what I should be looking at to correct both issues. Thanks in advance.

check all plugs, fuses, and wiring in the boat. Check the speedo wheel in the Port ride plate. there are ways to test the wheel/sensor. is the wheel missing?
Tach, try swapping the port to starboard tach and see if that signal is live...
for electrical issues I do recommend getting a service manual, it can be indepth for diagnosing a problem.
