1997 xp boarding s

I am trying to find a boarding step for my 1997 xp. I found one on eBay, however it excluded the year of my ski. If I fall off I will not be able to reboard without the step. I had a knee replacement and I am older. I would have to abandon my ski and swim for shore.
What is the correct boarding step?
