1997 spx trim

I am new to this site so bear with me!
I have a 97 spx and the trim is out. i took it in and he said the motor is fine but the module is out. Is the module difficult to replace and how costly might it be?
they quoted me 4something to repair it but if its going to be that much i am just going to live with it.

thats what im doing im just gonna set it in the middle leave it alone plus ive been hearing that the vts is a folly , poor design . it only take a little bit water and you be right back where you started. good idea something less to worry about from season to season.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
