1997 Sportster 1800 MPEM Diode location

The dreaded 5 amp continuous blow-out on my 97’ Sea Doo Sportster 1800 MPEM. I’m preparing for the dreaded diode surgery on the MPEM because I refuse to pay $1600-$2300 for a completely new one. Does anyone know where the diode is specifically located on that MPEM board? It’s a pretty big board and I gather is likely near the fuse itself but I’m not sure. Here is a stock photo of one for reference.

Check that, it’s a 1998 Sea Doo Sportster 1800, not 97.
