I just purchased a SeaRayder. The last 2 times out I have needed a tow. I replaced spark plugs and it seems to start up and run fine but after a lap and hanging out, it still stalls and won't turn over. I am new to boats but have noticed it seems to drain a lot of water from the plugs. My bilge pump works but I don't run it all the time. I noticed a leak from the part where the plugs screw into after I filled up the bilge with some water.

So here are my thoughts but looking for advice.

Water leaking through the plugs (bad seal/gasket)

Pump needs to be on more often to get rid of water

The excessive water is possible causing issues with ignition/running as it runs fine after I dry it out in my driveway.

There is however a 4 beep alarm that I have researched and occurs every few minutes. I believe it has something to do with oil level which is ok. Could this be a stuck float or a potential bad pump? I'm not against doing premixed fuel. Looking at all options. Kids are bummed and not excited about the boat anymore.

The SeaRayder is a Merc powered boat, and they weren’t on the market too long. You might get some help over in the Merc jet boat section of the forum, but I’m really not sure how similar they are to the Sea Doos...

Check your drain plugs. Is there supposed to be a gasket on there? Is it there? Are the fittings cracked? Any hull damage?
The flushing hose attachment- is the plug in place there?
Rarely, there is a casting under the engine that develops a hole and cooling water flows into the bilge. Need to check in the water. Engine off and engine on.

Engine won't turn over- does that mean NO START or NO CRANK?
What engine do you have?
