1997 SeaDoo GTX not starting

I bought this 1997 GTX not too long ago, everything is in good condition but I can not start it. After I used a Spark Plug(Its a brand new plug) to Spark wire tester, it shows no electricity going into the spark plug. so can someone tell me how I might be able to solve this problem and which other places I should be checking to ensure the ski running fine?

if you got a 12v light tester, put clip to neg. post and probe the white wire at coil. If it lites, them coil needs rpeplaced and/or clip back 1/4in on plug wire boots' end, then retry.
