Picked up a GTI. Wanting to upgrade the traction mats and change colors. I’ve looked at Hydroturf And Blacktip. Gonna be my wife’s ski so changing handgrips to pink and traction mats to pink. Does anyone have any pics of their 97 GTI with new traction mats? From what I’ve seen the news mats come with additional coverage than OEM.

Hydroturf is much nicer material than BlackTip. BlackTip typically has a 50% off sale on Black Friday though.
PWC Muscle has a forum discount for Hydroturf. Make sure you get it with the PSA already installed.

Can you just buy the rear mats? Everything I see shows an entire set.

No, just a complete set.
You really want the entire set, it is much more comfortable that the stock rubber ones.
