I have two unrelated questions. How do you repair a crack in the white vinyl cushion in one of the back seat cushion (it's the little insert cushion). Can you remove it to recover, or are there products to repair a crack...any suggestions appreciated. also we recently had the boat serviced and ther replaced the battery...now our pioneer stereo system is not working...no juice..does anyone know where a radio connects to power and where it might be disconnected? Thanks.

For the vinyl cushions, you can apply vinyl repair tape to cove the tear, but of course you will see the tape.
You can remove the seat and have it recovered.

For the no power to the radio...do the other accessories work? On my Glastron there is another small Red and black cables that attaches to the battery. Look for them near the battery and see if they forgot to attach them.
You may have a separate power wire at the battery for the radio too.

I have not been able to find where the screws are on the back seat..looking under the lip of the back seats I see no exposed screws to undo. Has anyone taken the back seat completely off to remove one of the insert cushions?

I'm not that familiar with your boat, but see if you can get access through the engine compartment.

If you are talking about the seat bottoms (where your butt sits on), you have to go in the engine compartment and look from there. There will be 4 screws holding the seat in place. You will have to reach way in there, they will be just above the gas tank. They are in 2 sets of 2 screws. The 2 closest to the back of the boat won't be too bad to reach, but the other 2 are located more towards the front will be much harder to reach.

Once you have the seat out, in order to remove the butt cushions, you will have to drill out the plastic rivets. You have to make sure that you use the smallest drill possible and don't go in too far if you want to use plastic rivets again to re-attach the cushions.

There is a thread dedicated to this under:
"How-To Tech Articles "
Then go to:
"DIY Seat/Upholstery Reconditioning"

As far as the radio goes, you should look at the service manual for your mode/year, it will show you where all of the connections and fuses are.
