Need HELP 1997 seadoo challenger 1800

I bought the boat on sat. Took it to the lake today and the engines started fine. The boat did not have any forward propulsion. Twice got it up to 50 but when went to turn lost forward movemnt again. rpm's varied on both engines from 1 to 3000 at full throttle moving at 10 mph. smetimes high rpm's on one engine and not the other and vice verses... any ideas...also anyone can tell me what the beeping noise is when first go into forward ...the bottom switch on right side of dash turns it off... as you can tell Im new to all this....bought boat to have fun with my kiddos

bottom right is the low fuel or reserve. i would say the carbs may need cleaned if the boat was previously sitting for awhile and the fuel was low. the neutral switch may be starting to go bad as well. look for topics on both.
