Hello all.
Hopefully someone can help me or point me in the right direction.. I dont have much money as things are very bad here in Michigan and having some family problems I am sure you all dont want to hear about.
So here it is.
I boughth this 1997 Sea Doo XP last year... It runs great once you get it going, however getting it going is the problem
THe jet ski will fire right up when out of the water.. However in the water I already blew the starter and the battery last year trying to get going in the water.. I had a new starter put in and a new battery.
Here the funny thing,,, if you rock the jet ski back and forth or can get someone to life the back end out of the water, it will fire right up..
I can handle this on my own, but when your riding with someone it impossible to get it going. As soon as you get the back end out of the water it fires right up and runs great..
For some reason it will not start with the back end in the water,, if you can rock it back and forth or get the back end lifted it will start right up and run great.... but as soon as you shut it off and try to start it, you have to get the back end out of the water...
Any info greatly appreciated.
