1997 Sea Doo GTX-runs great for 10-15 min. then stalls

Hi all: The sea doo runs great, lots of power, speed for 10 - 15 min. then stalls. Wait a few min. re-install key maybe start right away maybe takes several times key on and off. If it starts it might stall in 3 seconds. After several tries it might run again for a few minutes, then that is it for the day. I replace the despost and had a new key programmed for it. I charged the battery up but it always shows low voltage on the guages when trying to start it. Does anybody have any suggestions.

Low voltage?.....

When it shows low voltage on the gages while starting, does it go out when you start riding?
You say you repaced the post........you didn't have to replace the lanyard.

When this happens and you pull the lanyard on and off, do you get the two beeps each time this is done?

When the engine stalls, does it just shut down all at once or is there some stammer or hesitation, popping or any other strange sounds before it dies?

Hi Seadoosnipe: While i was winterizing it yesterday, I think I found the problem. I was removing the battery, and the ground cable that went into a connector that was attached to an after market main shutoff switch, that the previous owner installed fell out. Now ever time you put the lanyard on it does the 2 beeps. We will try it in the water in the spring. Thanks Oh ya and I added another lanyard because we didn't have a spare.
