Hi I have a new issue with my ski , I took it out today after a rebuilding the carbs and changing the water regulator valve that had started leaking . So when I was out there the ski ran good except that it wouldn't go pass 6000 rpms so I thought maybe the carbs needed a bit more tuning but decided to keep riding for awhile longer since this is the first time since I bought it that I was actually enjoying it in the water with no problems . After like 20 mins or so I let my brother and his girlfriend ride it and all was good , when I went to ride it again the acceleration wasn't feeling right anymore so I turn back around to have a look inside, when I pulled the seats open smoke started coming out and immediately I went to the exhaust pipe and sure enough it had a hole or Crack on the rubber hoes connecting from exhaust to waterbox . It didn't feel like it was melted more like ripped a big slit on the side. Can this incident be due to WR valve not adjusted properly if so can someone HELP me out highly appreciated. Thanks
