1997 GTX RVC Bolt Broken

The threads from one of the bolt holes holding my carburetor on stripped out. I figured i would just take off the rotary valve cover, and replace it with another one. How hard could it be.... right? Wrong... I got three out fine, but the last one would not come. I put a little extra torque on it, and snap..... The Allen head snapped right off. Now I have to get the rest of the bolt out. I tried using PB Blaster and a torch to heat it up, but all i did was discolor the rotary valve. Any ideas on how to get the bolt out?

Thanks in advance

Gonna have to probably pull the engine and have someone drill it out. Did it break flush?

Well, if you haven't messed the threads up you could thread a nut on and have someone tig weld the nut to the broken bolt and pray it backs out. More than likely you had the white powder of death that locked up the housing to the screw and the screw snapped. I just had the same thing happen a few weeks back. But, I had the engine out of the ski. You just have to find someone willing to weld it. I would also disconnect the battery and pull the harness from the mag cover to isolate the engine from the electronics.
