I purchased 2 1997 sea-doo GTIs and used them last Thursday with no issues. Yesterday we took them back to the lake and one of them after about 1 hour of use started having issues when throttled at max speed, the engine keep on throttling up and down like if it could not hold max speed. After that, whenever you throttle up, the engine idles up for a few seconds and then throttles down to low speed, you release the throttle and throttle up again and the same happens. I also got the Oil indicator lamp on, but the oil tank is full with new oil.
