We are going to replace the throttle cable in our 1997 Seadoo GTI. It started fraying and the dealership looked at it and removed it and gave us a HUGE quote on how much it would cost to replace, so we are going to attempt to do it ourselves. Is this a difficult task? Also, would we only need to purchase the throttle cable or are there other parts that we would need to purchase accomplish this task? Thank you for your help!

the cable itsself might be expensive but it shouldnt be that hard to change and the only thing you should need is the cable itsself if you can use a screwdriver then you can change it just remember what you have to do to remove it then do the opposite to install the new one.

Thank you for your help. The unfortunate part is that the cable has already been removed from the dealership since they just assumed that I would want to pay them to do it, so Im not sure where it will be threaded, but we can probably figure it out.
