is it common for these skis to tilt suddenly to one side when idling and make a turn. This is only the second time I took out these skis since I got them and both times someone or should I say both riders fell of when ski suddenly tipped.I tried duplicating it and it did it to me also but I was fast enough to throw my body weight back the other way and I did not slide of the seat.It seems to happen just on idle and if you try to make a turn..anybody else experience this?

Yea ...it's called balance, and gravitational pull...it gets the best of us. It's all part of the fun of seadoo ing...

guess the reason I asked is cause my son has a yamaha 3 seater and nobody has fallen off that ski the same way so I was wondering if its just the hull design of this particular model

Not to thread jack, but i have a similar issue. Mine tends to constantly go tilt side to side when going about half throttle. Causing me to have to constantly be shifting my weight. I'm still new to this, so i haven't gone full throttle yet, so i'm not sure if it smooths out as you go quicker.

Is this normal?? Will it go away as i become more experienced?

Yes, to both of your posts...Parrothead, Big island. It is the design of the hull and the balance factor...different from the Yamaha... I like to kid around so don't take me too seriously...Can't be serious all the time...

Karl

no problem Karl, born and raised out hear in paradise we don't take much serious.....just Hang Loose!

It's also caused by drag. Next time you are going slow and it starts to tilt, quickly turn the handles the opposite way and give it a little gas.

Yes, it's kind like a bicycle...the faster you go...

Well i had her out for the first time since my initial test drive, and what a blast!! You were right. Took a lil bit to get the hang, but i got her up on plane, leveled her out, and no sway or jumping!!! It was a blast!!! I can't believe i lived this long with out a PWC!!! lol

Can't wait to go out again tomorrow!!!

Thanks for all yal's help!!
