I have two 1997 GSI and two keys. Are the keys programmed to my Jet Ski? I want to buy a spare key in case I lose one of them, but not sure how to go about it.

yep....any dess landyard key will work, but need to get programmed to your ski/mpem..

Now I feel like a complete idiot, all of my keys worked for both jet skis so i figured they were universal, but i just called the dealership and they said one lanyard can be programmed to more then one jet ski. I bought a used replacement MPEM last week and almost threw it away because it didn't work. Now, might just be that I need the lanyard programmed.
