1997 Challenger Steering/Idle

Just purchased 97 Challenger, when test riding, noticed in F/N/R when idling, if you turn the steering full to left or right the engine idle rev's up a little, is that normal?

yup...normal.. it's supposed to help with slow speed manuevering(sp?)
