Well, i'm really trying my best not to sell this boat.... since every single time i go out on the water there is something happening... and im really gentle on the trottle.

First starts, seems ok, when its warm and i shut it off, wow is it a b.... to start. I checked the spark plugs, have a new set on....those the same.... it floods. I did some research and i found out that the pop off valve could be leaking in the intake. So its flooding the engine... wot to start... it starts better... but aint fixing my problem.

Now TODAY, grrrrr :banghead: restarted .... and one engine is missing so badly that i could not go on plain... did not want to damage engine, it seemed like if it was running out of gas, . Arrived home..i took the compression of both engines and they test at 140 psi. Spark plus still very flooded..... there new but were kinda black.

The question is... what should i do? I'm tinking for rebuilding the carbs and test the pop off valves, change the fuel filters.... any thoughts?:toetap05:

From your description it sounds like carb rebuild time. I would also replace the needles and seats while you are at it, as they are probably leaking back adding to your hard to start problem. The correct needle and seat pop off pressure will go a long way to curing your problems. There is a sticky in the two stroke pwc section about setting carbs by bills86e, I would read it before starting.

One other thing to check is the gas cap. Open the gas cap and see how much pressure is in the tank. Excessive pressure can cause carb flooding also. Could be a clogged vent check valve.
