I need some info about the carbs on my 1997 Seadoo Challenger 1800. I plan to rebuild them soon and I need to know what jets to get. I believe the previous owner screwed with the carbs and messed a few things up.

The manual says:
Pilot Jet = 65 with needle @ 1.5 turns out
Main Jet = Mag 142.5 with needle @ 0 turns out
Main Jet = PTO 145 with needle @ .5 turns out
38 pop off

Has there been any updates by seadoo to change these jets? I want to say that I read somewhere that seadoo updated the pilot to 67.5. Is this true?
The problem I'm having is that the engines are hard to start when hot and they stall if accelerated too fast.

are you giving it 1/4 throttle when you restart them? Also, are you running your bilge fan as instructed? Finally, check for any exhaust leaks into the bilge area.

Cablebandit, I am giving it 1/4 throttle. My fan broke long ago. And yes, there may be an exhaust leak. I get water in the boat while cruising. Any particular place that is prong to exhaust leaks. I can't seem to see or feel for any obvious leak.
Thanks

The coupler between the expansion chamber and the 1st water box has been an issue on mine due to the water regulator being clogged, then melted, then replaced, then clogged again, so im gonna add a strainer to each motor's inlet from the jet pump. That fan is cheap and easy to replace, could save you from exploding one day.....
