1997 Bombardier ~ Run engine off garden hose?

Looking to apply power foam to my sea doo corborator. Purchased recently off back of yaght. Hardly ever used. Starts like a charm, idles like a kitten, but lacks any throttle at all.

I live far from any lake or ocean but must operate the waverunner at operating temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before and after application of power foam. Told power foam would remove varnish and clog up in carborator possibly resolving the no throttle issue.

My question to the forum is ~ is it safe to operate a waverunner 1997 for such a length of time out of a body of water, connected as a substitute, to a garden hose.

Throttle?....

You said it lacks throttle. Do you mean when you give it gas, there is no real increase in the throttle response?

Your not specific to what type Bombardier you have, so there is no way I can really give you any real advice. But, when you respond, you could please answer the question also.

BTW, Waverunner are out by Yamaha. We are a Seadoo forum.

1997 Sea Doo Bombardier XP

I just purchased a 1997 Sea Doo Bombardier XP

There is not throttle response.

Sorry, I use waverunner as a panacea name muck like Coke or Frisbee

787cc?

This pwc has the 787 in it. Nice motor. Very reliable.

Please go into a bit more detail on the throttle. With just that small amount, it's hard to say if it's a throttle cable or carbs not syncro'd. Or maybe, your accelerator pump.

So, please explain "no throttle response" in a bit more detail.
