1997 1800 challenger starboard motor cutting out

97 1800 challenger one engine cuts out at 6500 rpms

I have a 97 challenger with twin 110s. Both engines run fine to 6400 rpms. The starboard motor starts to cut out at anything higher. At W.O.T. the starboard engine will stall. Cleaned both carbs and switched them out, no luck, still have the same problem. Any suggestions?

open ebox against firewall, and unplug the red wires at rectifier...
