I have a 1996 Seadoo XP. When putting it in the water when you first take off it stutters. It sits there and will not go. You can let off the gas, switch it off, crank it back up and it might run or it might do the same thing 2 or 3 times before actually going? Can anyone help with what might be going on?

Also, do anyone know where you can order parts from and have them shipped to GA like in 1-2 days? Everywhere we have found takes 1-2 weeks.

Thanks

I would change the plugs. It sounds like a fouled spark plug. As for parts...click on out " parts" link at the top of the page.

If the spark plugs didn't make a difference, it sounds like you need to remove the carburetors and clean them. If you're careful and don't tear or damage the diaphragms you won't need to buy a rebuild kit. Pay attention to the internal filters too. If you have gray fuel lines you need to replace them with black fuel lines available from auto parts stores like Auto Zone. Measure the length you need and bring a sample with you so you get the correct size. Replace one at a time so you don’t get them mixed up. If you need clamps replace them too. Use small stainless steel clamps also from the auto parts store.

Let us know how you make out.
