they make a noticable difference, much more tight in the handling...
no more slide turns, no more 180 slides, but will corner on rails.

Yes I have a complete set for $125 shipped and one more set of the top of the line Beach House brand for $175 shipped. I've found that all aftermarket brands work pretty good. There are only a few different brands.
No I agree with Spim 100% if you like spins and slides at all stay away from AM sponsons. They make it track like your on rails. If your going along pretty good, turn it, and hit the trigger it will throw you like a rag doll. I understand why BRP could not sell a machine like that. They were for tight turns in buoy racing originally but many people prefer the ride for tight creeks or whatever.
I have everything for the 96XP many times over.
the previous owner removed the VTS the trim is straight .When it starts to porpoise, trim it down and move forward on the seat so your chest is against the bar pad just about. Move as much weight towards the bow add you can. Don't tell me you can't unless your bigger that 6'2 and 230#, that's my size and I can do that and ride just fine until it smooths out, then creap back on the seat again. It's worth a try, it works for me.

The ski have upgrade partsagree with the above, generally speaking sponson's aren't going to make a dramatic difference in overall top speed, maybe 2% (1mph) but more than make up for it in cornering, i'm not a fan but probably because i'm stubborn about change after 200+ hours on stock setups. Two different rides.
if you want top end you need to start with an aftermarket pipe, impeller its really not that expensive to add 4-6 mph and you can add midrange power too with ECWI, after that it gets pricey and not .
