hey guys :)

hey guys im having some trouble with my ski. im losing alot of top end because my rev limiter kicks in when im on full throttle. i have a new wear ring, and i checked my drive shaft and both are good. i have an aftermarket impeller housing and nozzle but a stock impeller. someone told me my engine may be out spinning my propeller so it causes the rev limiter to go in. what do you guys think?
 
What is the clearance of the wear ring to the stock impeller? The clearance should be .040 I believe. It sounds like the impeller isn't the correct size to the pump and nozzle. I might want to check with the manufacturer for the correct combination.
