I got this ski a few years ago after it had been sitting replaced the fuel lines, rebuilt the carbs, new plugs and believe it or not it ran and after replacing a few more things such as exhaust gaskets and and also new raves it would not start. I messed with it for a while then bought a new boat so the Seadoo got put on hold. I have winterized it for the year it was not used. I now have time to try and get it running again but still no start. Here is what I have done so far. Put a new battery in and went to start it 2 beeps hit starter and there was a clunking noise coming from starter. I ordered a new starter put that it same thing. I ordered a new solenoid went to start it sounded for a second like it might turn over then back to clunking noise. Took spark plugs out took PTO cover off it turned by hand both ways but not completely around. Recharged battery so it was fully charged 2 beeps hit starter once again clunking noise and now pto will not turn by hand at all. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I have read through the forum and tried some things I have seen but still nothing.

Sounds like your engine is locked up....have you tried to start/turn the engine over it with the plugs OUT.

Are you sure you put the RAVE blades in the right way? They have an UP/DOWN side?

I have a question, I have a brand new starter button in my 96 seadoo gtx. Thers no power going to start button and all fuses are good and replaced the solenoid. I also jump the starter and have no spark aswell. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this

Best way to resolve this is to start a New Thread on the topic. State the ski model and year that way members can be specific when responding to your problem. Good Luck!
