1996 Sea-Doo xp ?

I am picking my seadoo up from the dealer on Friday and had a few question about somethings if you guys could help me that would be GREAT!
first thing is that i want to know what DESS is? second off when i was looking for parts it asked me if it was a xp 5858 or an xp 5859 how do you tell?
these are probably easy stupid questions but help me out if you can thanks

I just did a reply to another member about using our search engine in the tool bar so that you may help yourself, get an answer right away. If you type in DESS in the search tool bar, you'd come up with a million post that would give you an instant answer.

The difference between the two models, is basically the time of year they were manafactured. There is no basic difference in parts........:cheers:
