1996 sea doo won’t start after sitting for a few hours

I have a 1996 sea doo spi recently I rebuilt the carb and afterwards the jet ski will only start if you prime the fuel line each time. After priming it it will run good and has no problems until you turn it off and let it sit for about an hour then it will not start again. If I turn off the jet ski and let it sit for like 5-10 minutes it still will start but anything longer and it will not. We’ve figured out it’s a fuel issue and have tried a primer bulb and replacing fuel lines and still can’t figure much out any help would be appreciated thanks.
