1996 gtx No power to the dash

I’ve just Rebuilt my 787 engine, before rebuilding it had power to the dash and solenoid was clicking when I clicked the start button but the starter was rooted as the engine was seized. it recognised the key but had no beeb pretty sure that might need replacing. now I’ve got the engine back in I have no power to the dash and no recognition of the key and the battery is above 12v but for some reason can’t jump the solenoid I’ve tested the key post and button and they check out fine could it be the mpem if so how would I test it??

More likely you don't have all the grounds in place properly. Simple system to follow the power using wiring diagram.

Is the small black wire from the rear electrical box connected to negative of battery?
