1996 gtx fuel lines

I have read that the gray fuel lines in these skis are junk !!! How true is that statment and if it is what do i replace them with and can u use standard automitive fuel lines !!

I'm new to the forum but, I've looked into this alot. I just changed all of my fuel lines. my seadoo is an 01 and my lines were already gummed up along with every filter. most people will probably tell you to replace them with new grey lines. I don't feel like going through the same crap again so I did some looking and found some heavy duty hydraulic line at Napa. It's called weatherhead it's 400 psi Maybee a little overkill, but It makes me feel better. I've read alot of posts that say they have had regular hose for a while and had no prob. I hope this helps. Replace your lines with black fuel line hose that can be found at any auto parts store.

:agree:..i'd say, 99% of time, with 1/4in fuel hose...
