So I finally got my 1996 GSX running good and took it out the other day. How stable will it be with 2 full sized adults on it? My wife and I go for a swim every time we try and board my 1993 xp, so it has to be better than that. Lol

Yeah, my wife and I ride double on the 96GSX often, about 320lb total weight. Works great very little difference in maneuvering and top end speed as well. We dive off the seat when swimming and goofing around. 96 GSX is a performer.

I really like the GSX platform. More stability and just as fun. I had a 1996 SPI and it was dang easy to roll that ski over at slow speed. I never did but had some close calls for sure. Riding the GS was much more stable. Just have to remember that on all skis, keep your weight to the center. Personally if a ski is a 2-seater that means ONE rider and a 3-seater that means TWO riders. LOL I don't ride double anyway. Who wants to ride on the back where you can't grip it and rip it? Have fun !!

I'm contemplating getting a double trailer.

About 2 years ago there was a guy in my area that bought a 1993 two seater jet ski for $500. It wasn't a very nice looking ski. He sunk it for his first launch, same day he bought it, and wanted to seel it for $300. I called him and ended up clearing the engine and getting it running for him. My point is.... he was a tall guy and I met his fiancee' who was at least 5'7". He bought the ski to take her to Crab Island near Destin Florida. I said, dude you two on this ski?? Apparently they made it and had fun. LOL You never know.

Alex rolled the ski over when we first took it out riding by himself. Then the wear ring was bad... then he called me when he was in Florida that it wasn't running right and I told him to replace the spark plugs. LOL Sometimes we complicate life.... Alex just had fun and it all worked out. :)

Agreed, Ski's are rated like tents to me. a 2 person is a 1 person and a 3 person is a 2 person.

All of our ski's are one person. If she wants to ride on the back I make the decision to get the Baja out.
